Anzac 2009 Gallipoli and the Western Front
OUR
2009 BROCHURE IS OUT
NOW!!!
Each year the number of Australian and New Zealand travellers
visitng Gallipoli for the ANZAC Day commemorations increases.
Tighter Security and subsequent early road closures mean that
touring and visiting the key sights on the Penninsula becomes even
more difficult as the day of the Commemorative Services approaches.
At Albatross we feel it is both sensible and imperative to arrive
into the Gallipoli region in advance of the enormous crowds so we
elect to add one extra, very necessary night there.
Gallipoli - The Albatross Way. We stay here 4 nights* and have
planned our touring days and driving times to be more sensible and
civilised.
In addition Albatross Travel have included the services of a
qualified team of War Historians throughout the Gallipoli
Peninsula. They will be on hand to bring life to the tragic campaign
- everything from the dawn landings, military successes and
failures, and eventual casualty free evacuation some 9 months
later.
Their intimate background knowledge helps to separate fact from
fable and provides numerous fascinating insights into the lifestyle
and living conditions of the infamous 'Diggers'.

Gallipoli hotels, click here.
Here's 7 good reasons why you can choose our tours with
confidence.
*The Essential ANZAC tour follows a
different touring programme with only 2 nights in the Gallipoli
