Through Provence and Tuscany to Umbria
17 days - Paris to Rome - 20 May, 4 June, 9 June, 19 August, 10
September 2009
IMAGINE.... A totally unique tour specifically designed to capture
the essence and vibrancy of four very evocative regions of France
and Italy - Provence, the Cote d'Azur, Tuscany and Umbria. Each on
littered with wonderfully preserved cities and villages, incredible
scenic drives and a proud heritage of culture, food and wine. To do
them justice we have arranged to have four night stays in both the
Provence and Tuscany regions, plus three night stays on the Cote
d'Azur and amoungst the hills of Umbria. Yes, we spend ample time
in the major cities...but then come with us as we seek out other
sights such as Arles, Les Beaux and the Camargue in France and San
Gimignano, glorious Lucca and Orvieto in Italy. Join us in Umbria
for lunch with the locals in Citta della Pieve, and taste salami in
the medieval village of Bevagna. Now that's hard to take!
