Tour Overview

This ‘Special’ tour provides the perfect balance of free time, comprehensive sightseeing and extra inclusions. You will take in all the great sites of Istanbul as well as spending a total of four nights in Canakkale – perfectly located in the heart of the Gallipoli region.  Our commemorative sightseeing programme is unique. For the entire duration of your comprehensive sightseeing programme throughout the Gallipoli Peninsula, your enjoyment will be enormously enhanced by the services of our team of specially trained, English speaking, Turkish guides and expert Australian War Historians.

Due to tighter security, subsequent early road closures and the influx of mass backpacker coaches, touring and visiting the key sights on the peninsula on 24 April is now increasingly difficult and less rewarding. Therefore we ensure that our in depth sightseeing programme is completed on 22 and 23 April, ahead of the crowds. On these days you will enjoy in depth visits to all the major sights and museums on the peninsula - from the massive Turkish and Allied monuments at Cape Helles to the ANZAC landing beaches and the numerous moving commemorative sites scattered throughout the rugged hills above. Our day to day Gallipoli touring itinerary is tried and tested.  Past client feedback consistently and thoroughly endorses our commemorative programme as providing a fully satisfying and rewarding experience.
