Essential ANZAC

Tour Overview

We offer the Essential ANZAC tour programme, our shorter, simpler, budget ANZAC tour, for those people with restraints on time and money yet who still demand high quality touring and hotels in exceptional locations, close to the Gallipoli battlefields. This tour covers the main highlights of Istanbul and Gallipoli.  The 5 day Essential ANZAC tour commences on 22 April. It has a more conventional itinerary, travelling down to Gallipoli two days before the Dawn Service and spending part of 23 and 24 April touring the battlefields. After the Commemoration Services on 25 April, the tour returns to your nearby Canakkale hotel, to enjoy a well earned rest overnight.  The tour ends on arrival in Istanbul, in the early afternoon, on 26 April.

Tour Highlights

• Panoramic sightseeing tour of Istanbul
• Visit the ANZAC Commemorative Site, ANZAC Cove, Shrapnel Valley, Beach Cemetery, Kabatepe War Museum, Lone Pine, Walker’s Ridge and The Nek and surrounding trenches
• Ancient ruins of Troy
• Experience the moving ANZAC Dawn Service on the Gallipoli Peninsula
• Australian or New Zealand National Services at Lone Pine or Chunuk Bair

Tour Inclusions
