Frightfully Good Fridays! Jack the Ripper Whitechapel Walking Tour

It is the autumn of 1888, and a sinister serial killer is loose on the streets of London’s East End. At first he is known simply as ‘The Whitechapel Murderer’. But in time, thanks to a mysterious letter sent to a London news agency, he will become known as “Jack the Ripper,” a name which will become infamous throughout the world…

This spellbinding Jack The Ripper experience is delivered by some of the most world-renowned experts on the Ripper murders and will take us to Whitechapel locations where an unknown figure cast a shadow of terror over Victorian East London. The tour’s atmospheric route takes us straight into old, narrow alleyways where we will feel like we’ve been transported back to the mean streets of the Victorian East End. In addition we will visit more murder sites and locations related to the Jack the Ripper murders than on any other Jack the Ripper walk.

Tour guides Richard Jones and Philip Hutchinson combine their expert knowledge with outstanding showmanship, telling a gripping tale which is impossible to forget. Richard Jones has appeared on almost every Jack the Ripper television documentary throughout the last 15 years, whilst Philip Hutchinson has been responsible for some of the major Ripper-related finds in recent years.
