Driver Comment: “Our group loved this hotel! There were plenty of staff and the service was excellent. They couldn’t do enough for us!”
Blackpool Tower Ballroom
Step into the sensational Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Dating back to 1894, the Ballroom has long been famous for its unique sprung dance floor and spectacular architecture. Dance to the sounds of the famous Wurlitzer or watch from the side lines whilst enjoying a delicious afternoon tea. Whether gliding around the dance floor or just relaxing with afternoon tea, the Tower Ballroom is an unforgettable experience.

Blackpool Illuminations
September - Early November
The Lancashire resort of Blackpool is famous for its amazing Illuminations Festival that takes place every autumn and attracts crowds of visitors. Dating back to 1879 the lights are nationally renowned as one of Britain’s most popular traditional seaside events and are over 6 miles long and use over one million light bulbs!

Winter Gardens
Located in the centre of town, the magnificent famous Winter Gardens building includes the Empress Ballroom, the Pavilion Theatre, Baronial Hall, Spanish Room and the Opera House. Guided tours are available.

Promenade & Piers
Blackpool has a popular promenade which stretches for six miles with three piers. North Pier is the longest and oldest of the three, built in the 1860s it is grade II listed and features a small shopping arcade, theatre and carousel. South Pier, dating back to 1892, sits opposite the Pleasure Beach and has various different rides and live entertainment. Central Pier is (of course!) located between them both and was built in 1864 following the success of the North Pier.

Blackpool Trams
Enjoy journeys on the famous Blackpool trams, just hop on and off along the promenade of the Golden Mile to visit the piers or travel further afield on a scenic journey to the bustling, traditional seaside resort of Cleveleys or the popular, traditional coastal indoor markets at Fleetwood. There is a choice of modern, smooth trams or old style Heritage Trams which operate from separate tram stops.

Stanley Park
Stanley Park is a masterpiece of landscape design and historical splendour. Known as one of the regions finest parks, the 390 acre park is a landmark in its own right, offering a magical blend of architecture, horticulture and recreation. It has many features including a visitor centre, café, Italian garden, bandstand, lake, floral clock and a rose garden as well as boats, islands and a model village.

Lightworks
A tour of Lightworks, the warehouse workshop home of the famous Blackpool Illuminations, will reveal over 20,000 objects from the Illuminations Collection from the 1920s to the present day, including photographs, diagrams and original artwork showing the evolution of the beloved “lights”. Visitors will discover how they are made from initial design to final construction.
