Riverside Homes of the Rich & Famous and Windsor Castle

Experience a glimpse into the world of the rich and famous with a relaxing cruise past some of the finest waterside houses in the country, plus pay a visit to the world’s largest inhabited castle and famous Royal Residence, Windsor Castle!
Day 1 Arrival - Homes of the Rich & Famous Cruise
This scenic river cruise offers a glimpse into the worlds of entertainment stars, captains of industry and commerce, oil rich Arabs, the aristocracy and assorted lottery millionaires - locally-born skippers know all there is to know, and more!

Departing at 2.00 pm, we cruise past the Waterside Inn, famed hostelry of the Roux brothers, glide by the strangely named Monkey Island with its amazing hotel, hear about the notorious 'Botany Bay' of the Thames and learn about all the other characters who have lived on this famous riverside.  With afternoon tea included, we can sit back, relax and enjoy an entertaining cruise!

Day 2 Windsor Castle
This morning we visit Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world, established in the 11th century by William the Conqueror. The castle has been the family home of 39 British monarchs for almost 1,000 years and now, of course, an official residence of Her Majesty The Queen.

Still very much a working royal palace, the Castle is used regularly for ceremonial and State occasions, and it is here that The Queen often hosts state visits from overseas monarchs and presidents. Entry includes admission to the Castle, Gardens and State Rooms.
