Day 1 Arrival
After travelling southwards through the Alps, we arrive in Klosters and check in to the Silvretta Park Hotel.

Day 2 Klosters Driver’s Day Off
Today will be at leisure in Klosters, giving us time to explore the local area and neighbouring Davos. Why not use the Gotschnagrat cable car to travel up the mountain above Klosters for dramatic views over the valley?

Day 3 St Moritz 151km/94 mile round trip
Today, we enjoy a scenic drive to St Moritz, where we will spend time exploring this famous stylish resort, 1,856m above sea level. After perusing the designer boutiques along Via Serlas, take a horse and carriage ride around the lake, through the Staz forest or the grand town itself.

Day 4 Bernina Express & Iseo 317km/197 miles
The highlight of our holiday is today, as we make the spectacular Bernina Express train journey from Davos to Tirano. A high point of this journey is the panoramic view from the Bernina Express as it passes glaciers on its descent to a land of swaying palms. The journey goes through 55 tunnels and over 196 bridges, with the section between Thusis and Tirano classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We disembark the train in Tirano from where we will then make our way to the town of Iseo our base for the next 3 nights.

Day 5 Salò & Wine Tasting 130km/81 mile round trip
Today, we travel to Lake Garda and pay a visit to the town of Salò, the renowned port and entrance to the Riviera dei Limoni. Salò was the seat of the Fascist government during the Second World War and consequently home to the infamous dictator, Mussolini, during this time. Traces of its prestigious past can be seen along the main street in the elegant historic centre lined with beautiful buildings, pretty boutiques and restaurants. In the afternoon we enjoy wine tasting at Cantine Redaelli de Zinis, a stunning winery to the south west of the Lake. This region is known as the Tuscany of Lake Garda and will provide us with an excellent, authentic Italian experience.

Day 6 Lake Garda 253km/157 mile round trip
We pay another visit to neighbouring Lake Garda for the day. Firstly, we stop in the picturesque town of Sirmione, with its castle perched on the end of the peninsula, where we enjoy free time. We then travel onwards to Malcesine, with its stunning castle and cobbled streets, from where we will enjoy a cable car journey up to the summit of Monte Baldo, with its spectacular views across the lake.

Day 7 Departure
This morning we begin our journey back to the UK.
