PACKAGED ITINERARY

Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Florence Court & free time at the hotel
This morning we head out to visit to Florence Court, a beautiful 18th century Georgian house set in lovely grounds amidst majestic countryside in West Fermanagh. Known locally for its historic conservation projects and self-sufficiency, part of the restoration project included the Kitchen Garden which is currently being returned to its 1930s glory. After our visit, we return to our delightful hotel where we have the whole afternoon, to explore and relax, enjoying the many amenities at our disposal.

Day 3 Wild Atlantic Way Drive
Our day starts with free time in the seaport of Sligo where we can explore at leisure. Straddling the Garavogue River, Sligo has a rich literary heritage, with its most famous son, YB Yeats’ memorabilia being displayed in the County Museum, while its ruined abbey has an altar dating back to the 15th century. We then head out to picturesque Rosses Point and enjoy a scenic drive as we follow the N15 on the stunning Wild Atlantic Way, passing Mullaghmore and Classiebawn Castle on our way back to our hotel.

You can also make this a longer day by planning a visit to Donegal.

Day 4 Belleek Pottery & Lough Erne Cruise
This morning we make our way to Belleek Pottery where we enjoy a 30 minute guided tour of Ireland’s oldest pottery producer, experiencing all the production areas with the chance to chat with the craftspeople. We have free time in Enniskillen to sample lunch at one of the many eateries offering locally sourced food with their farm to table cuisine. This afternoon we enjoy a 2 hour scenic cruise on tranquil Lough Erne on board the Lady of the Lake. We make a pitstop at Devenish Island Monastic Site, which was founded in the 6th century and boasts a fascinating history, including being raided by Vikings (837AD), burned (1157AD) and flourishing (Middle Ages) as a parish church site. We discover the ruins from different time periods on site before continuing our cruise.

Day 5 Departure
After breakfast, we make our way home.
