We spend today at the excellent Oswaldtwistle Mills shopping village and garden centre, joining in the festivities at their Christmas Party. Along with browsing Christmas buys from more than 100 retailers, we enjoy a drinks service, homemade Christmas lunch, warm mince pies and live entertainment!
Day 3: Tatton Park & Christmas Market
This morning we visit the impressive 18th century Tatton Park. The mansion is beautifully adorned with natural decorations from the estate, adding a lovely scent to the traditional sights. We then spend time at leisure exploring either Manchester or Chester’s atmospheric Christmas market.
