SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Battle Abbey & Pashley Manor Gardens
This morning, we visit historic Battle Abbey where we enjoy an audio guided tour of the Abbey ruins, stand on the very spot where the armies of King Harold and William the Conqueror clashed at the Battle of Hastings and discover the Victorian walled garden, visitor centre and Abbey Gatehouse. We spend the afternoon at the sumptuous award
winning Pashley Manor Gardens where we see romantic English landscaping at its best - delight in the sweeping herbaceous borders, elegant rose and historic walled gardens, kitchen garden, woodland paths and tranquil vistas. Late April/May welcomes the spectacular Tulip Festival and a carpet of over 40,000 tulips, whilst mid-June sees the roses at their glorious best.

Day 3 Brighton
We spend today in vibrant Brighton where there are plenty of attractions to see, including the stunning Victorian Brighton Pier, the historic Brighton Bandstand, Madeira Lift, Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, the dazzlingly exotic Royal Pavilion, the i360 and, last but not least, Brighton beach!

Day 4 Hastings, Rye & Carr Taylor Vineyard
This morning, we spend time in Hastings' Old Town, home to the town's still working fishing fleet and historic fishermen's huts, little museums, two funicular lifts, miniature railway, lifeboat station and pirates! From here we travel to the historic port town of Rye where we have free time for lunch in one of the many lovely tea rooms. In the afternoon, we enjoy a 90 minute guided tour and tasting at the Carr Taylor Vineyard, set in the beautiful East Sussex countryside.

Day 5 Departure
After breakfast, we make our way home.
