SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Day 1 Embark in Koblenz
Day 2 Traben-Trarbach
The Art Nouveau town of Traben-Trarbach was one of the most important wine trading towns in Europe at around 1900, alongside the city of Bordeaux. This led to the establishment of over 100 wine companies. Enjoy an optional underground tour through the Traben-Trarbach underworld and the cellar vaults, learning about the history of local viticulture and the old cellar technology used to produce Riesling.
Day 3 Bernkastel
Why not enjoy an optional excursion to discover the wonderful wines of the Moselle and let yourself be chauffeured through the sea of vines in a lovingly restored VW Bulli!
Day 4 Cochem & Treis-Karden
In Cochem why not explore with an optional excursion? By minivan, head up the hill to the majestic Reichsburg Castle towering over the city. Our second stop for today is Treis-Karden where we can take a guided tour through the picturesque abbey district rounded off with a visit to the Hambrech Abbey distillery.
Day 5 Disembark in Koblenz
After breakfast, we begin our journey home.
