Paul says...
“This elegant and traditional style family owned and run hotel boasts a fabulous location within easy walking distance of Montecatini’s vibrant centre. You can be assured of a warm welcome and a really comfortable stay in what is one of my all time favourites.”
Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Lucca
After breakfast we make our way to Lucca, one of the oldest cities in Tuscany and home to a maze of narrow cobbled streets, beautiful churches and a unique oval piazza. We enjoy a 4 course lunch at the fabulous Trattoria Buralli before having an afternoon browsing Via Fillungo, the main shopping street which runs through the historic centre.

Day 3 Montecatini Terme Driver’s Day Off
Today, we spend time at leisure in Montecatini, the largest of Tuscany's spa towns. Visitors are attracted by its variety of fine spas, historic buildings, shops and funicular railway which travels to Montecatini Alto, where we suggest a visit to the I Cipressini Olive Grove for an informative olive oil tasting experience.

Day 4 Siena & Wine Tasting
This morning, we enjoy a guided walking tour of the medieval city of Siena, where we discover its central piazza, the Fonte Gaia, Palazzo Comunale and the Torre del Mangia, after which we have free time to explore on our own - a visit to the impressive Gothic cathedral is a must! In the afternoon, we visit the Tolaini Winery where we enjoy a tasting of 5 Chianti red wines accompanied by homemade Tuscan bread and Tolaini olive oil.

Day 5 Viareggio & Pisa
This morning, we make our way to Viareggio, a thriving coastal resort with a long beachside promenade lined with shops and cafés. After enjoying lunch at one of the many fine seafood restaurants, we travel to Pisa, famous for its leaning tower - one of Italy’s most recognisable buildings. The neighbouring cathedral is also one of the most beautiful in Tuscany and will undoubtedly take your breath away with its grandeur and detail.

Day 6 Departure
After breakfast we begin our journey home.
