A Theatrical Tour of Stratford 2021

Our Stratford tour features a fantastic Audition Tour at the famous Royal Shakespeare Company, a boat cruise, mighty Warwick Castle and stately Sudeley Castle - plenty for your groups to write home about!

Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Stratford River Cruise & RSC Theatre
We begin our day with a relaxing 45 minute river cruise with an engaging guide who will bring Shakespeare’s Stratford to life, before spending some free time in Stratford. In the afternoon, we head for the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre where we enjoy an Audition Tour, taking a whistle-stop journey through the production cycle of a play, peeking inside the vast Costume Store and trying on some of those used in rehearsals, taking the chance to try out our Shakespeare and seeing how we would fare in an audition, and walking through the gardens hearing stories about the theatre making process.

Day 3 Warwick Castle
Today, we spend time at leisure at magnificent Warwick Castle. With more than 1,000 years of jaw-dropping history the castle’s attractions include a maze, a Time Tower and the Mighty Trebuchet - the largest working siege machine in the world – this colossal catapult is an authentic recreation of one of the biggest and most deadly military machines of all time. Behind the castle’s mighty walls, the real heart of the castle can be found in its beautiful grand interiors. Please note, a visit to the castle involves a fair amount of walking and steps.

Day 4 Sudeley Castle & The Cotswolds
This morning we make our way to stately Sudeley Castle, where we enjoy a 35 minute talk (seated) on the history of the castle with an expert guide before we have time to explore the castle rooms and gardens, followed by a light lunch (soup and sandwiches). We travel through the beautiful Cotswolds to the historic village of Broadway in the afternoon, where we have time to browse the independent shops and cafés.

Day 5 Departure
We make our way home today, perhaps via Charlecote Park.
