Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel before dinner.

Day 2 Verona
This morning we will travel to romantic Verona, one of Italy’s oldest cities. Verona is the fictitious home of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and here we can visit Juliet’s balcony and admire the beautiful Roman amphitheatre, home to world-famous opera productions. We can enjoy lunch in the Piazza Bra, the largest piazza in Verona, lined with numerous cafés and restaurants. Verona is a shoppers' paradise with something for everyone from the daily market in Piazza delle Erbe, which is the perfect place to find a bargain, offering a great selection of local produce, to the stylish designer shops at Via Mazzini.

Day 3 Venetian Villas
We begin our morning with a visit to Veneto’s best kept secret: Asolo, the “City of a Hundred Horizons” due to its scenic setting. We will have some free time here to uncover this picturesque old town that was an inspiration for many poets, writers, artists and travellers. Stroll through the streets and squares enjoying the architecture of this picturesque town. We then head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Villa Barbaro, also known as the Villa di Maser, one of Andrea Palladio’s masterpieces. We will visit the 6 rooms open to the public in the Villa before enjoying a tasting of three Villa di Maser wines accompanied with cheese and salami.
Operator note: For groups larger than 30, the group will be split due to size of some rooms within the Villa.

Day 4 Bassano del Grappa Driver’s Day Off
Today we can enjoy Bassano del Grappa at leisure. Why not enjoy learning about and tasting the location’s namesake at Grapperia Nardini, just a 10 minute stroll from the hotel and located on Ponte Vecchio, a 13th century wooden bridge stretching over the River Brenta. We return to the hotel early afternoon and learn how to make a real Aperol spritz!

Day 5 Padua & Prosecco
This morning we travel to the medieval city of Padua. Here we can take a stroll around the historic streets and visit the Scrovegni Chapel, with its priceless frescoes by Giotto, and The Basilica of St. Anthony. In the afternoon we travel to Villa Sandi, located on the famous Prosecco wine route, where we can sample some of the region’s famous sparkling wine before returning to our hotel.
