PACKAGED ITINERARY | NEW
Day 1 Arrival in Brighton
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Wakehurst Place (NT) & The Bluebell Railway
We spend this morning at Wakehurst Place, where we enjoy a private guided tour of the house. Funded and managed by Kew Gardens, Wakehurst is a botanical garden with the world’s largest seed conservation project and there are 500 acres of ornamental gardens, woodlands and a nature reserve to explore. After free time for lunch, we travel the short distance to Kingscote to board our train for a journey on the Bluebell Railway, the UK’s first preserved standard gauge passenger railway.

Day 3 Regency Brighton
Today will be spent in Brighton itself, where we will have free time at leisure this morning to enjoy the narrow “Lanes” behind the hotel. The Lanes are home to a multitude of independent shops, galleries and restaurants. After lunch, we enjoy a guided tour of the Royal Pavilion followed by a cream tea within the Pavilion itself! This magical and exotic
building has a great history and several unusual influences, making it a must see for any visitor.

Day 4 Petworth (NT) & Arundel Castle
We spend this morning at Petworth, a 17th century mansion located in the heart of the South Downs National Park, where we enjoy a guided tour, enjoying the beautiful paintings and learning about life “below stairs”. After free time to explore the excellent gardens and the market town of Petworth itself, we depart for the coastal town of Arundel,
where we visit Arundel Castle, one of the longest inhabited castles in England, renowned for its beautiful gardens.

Day 5 Departure
We begin our journey home today.
