Operator note: There are toll roads on this route.

Day 3 Kirchberg Driver’s Day Off
We will spend today at leisure in the famous resort of Kirchberg. We can take a short walk to the beautiful lake, relax by the water’s edge and take in the stunning view or explore the town’s shops and cafés before returning to our hotel in time for tea and cake.

The road opened in 1935 permitting exploration of an area previously closed to all except mountaineers (please note there are tolls on this route). During our journey we stop at the Franz-Josef-Höhe viewpoint to admire the outstanding scenery before continuing on our circular route back to our hotel via the market town of St. Johann.
