This stunning 4-day tour highlights historic coastal resorts and beautiful lakeland scenery as we explore the picturesque county of Lancashire. Enjoy our waterside adventure as we stroll along Victorian piers and sandy beaches and relax on a cruise of Lake Windermere. Soak up the local history as we visit the Lakeland Motor Museum.
PACKAGED ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2 Southport & Lytham St Annes
This morning we spend free time in the classic Victorian seaside resort of Southport. Enjoy the fabulous sandy beaches and take a leisurely stroll down the UK’s oldest iron pier to the Pavilion for breathtaking views. In the afternoon, we enjoy some time in Lytham St Annes, wander along the beaches, in the independent shops or perhaps through Ashton Gardens.
Day 3 Lakeland Motor Museum, Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway & Cruise
This morning we visit, nestled in the Leven Valley, the Lakeland Motor Museum. This museum isn’t just about cars, it also presents the fascinating local history with key displays. Enjoy some lunch (not included) in the riverside Café Ambio before we make our way by coach to Haverthwaite Station where we embark on a journey on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway to Lakeside Pier before enjoying a 40-minute cruise on Windermere to Bowness, where we have some free time before making our way back to the hotel.

After breakfast, we make our way home.
