Cruise into Ireland's Heartlands & Fermanagh

We explore the beauty of “real Ireland” in our packaged tour based at the friendly Bush Hotel in the pretty town of Carrick-on-Shannon. Highlights include a cruise on the River Shannon and a cruise on beautiful Lough Erne in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Visits to Belleek Pottery and impressive Florence Court are also included.

GREAT NEWS: After Brexit (deal or no deal), Passports still won’t be needed for entry into Ireland. How’s that for a great deal!
Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Belleek Pottery & Sligo
We begin today with a visit to Ireland’s oldest pottery producer, Belleek Pottery, where we enjoy a 30 minute guided tour followed by free time to visit the Tea Room before we travel on to Sligo. We spend the afternoon at leisure here, exploring the town, following in the footsteps of its most famous resident, W.B. Yeats.

Day 3 Carrick-on-Shannon & Cruise Driver’s Day Off
Today, we step outside our hotel and walk the short distance to the marina to board our Pleasure Cruiser for a relaxing 1 hour cruise on the mighty River Shannon. We enjoy on-board entertainment and guided commentary before returning to Carrick-on-Shannon, where we have the remainder of the day to enjoy at leisure in this picturesque town.

Day 4 Fermanagh, Northern Ireland
We begin the morning with a trip to Florence Court (NT), an 18th century Palladian house & estate previously used as a timber processing plant, where we enjoy a guided tour. From here we continue to Enniskillen, where we enjoy a guided tour of the Enniskillen Castle Museums. Built in the 16th century, Enniskillen Castle now houses the Fermanagh County Museum and the regimental museum of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers & 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards. We have free time for lunch in Enniskillen, before embarking on a stunning 2 hour private cruise on Lower Lough Erne, aboard the Lady of the Lake. Our scenic cruise takes in the sights of the area as we relax and immerse ourselves in the natural beauty that surrounds us.

Day 5 Departure
After breakfast, we make our way home.
Please note, our itinerary schedule may change to accommodate private sailing times on Day 4.
