Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2 Gunwharf Quays & Spinnaker Tower
Today, we visit the uniquely positioned Gunwharf Quays. Situated in a cultural harbour front location in the heart of Portsmouth, Gunwharf Quays is the South’s leading designer shopping outlet. With over 90 brands offering up to 60% off original retail prices and over 30 restaurants, bars and coffee shops, you really can shop till you drop or just sit and watch the world go by! This afternoon, we experience the dizzy heights of Spinnaker Tower, which stands at 170 meters tall. We enjoy the breathtaking 23-mile views over Portsmouth Harbour, the city, the Solent, the South Downs and the Isle of Wight.
Day 3 Winchester & Bombay Sapphire Distillery
This morning, we visit the historic city of Winchester. Here we can explore the medieval cathedral with its fascinating 17th century Morley Library, the Norman crypt and the Winchester Bible dating back to the 12th century. In the afternoon, we head to rural Hampshire to enjoy a guided tour of the Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery, where we discover the Glasshouses, the Botanical Dry Room and the Dakin Still House before enjoying a drink suited to our personal taste profile in the Mill Bar.
Day 4 Isle of Wight
Today we have a real treat in store as we head to Southsea to catch the Hovercraft to the Isle of Wight, not just for the crossing but for an exciting Hovertravel Experience, during which the hovercraft capabilities are demonstrated. On arrival in Ryde we meet the pilot for a tour and inside look at the hovercraft. We have free time in Ryde for lunch before returning to mainland via hovercraft once more.

After breakfast, we make our way home.
