Hampton Court Palace


Set on the Thames, Hampton Court Palace is a jewel among English royal palaces. Highlights include the vast Tudor kitchens where huge feasts were prepared and served to Henry VIII and his six wives in the adjoining Great Hall. You can also visit the sumptuous Georgian state and private apartments overlooking the famous Fountain Court. The
beautiful surrounding gardens have been restored to their 17th century layout with parterres and fountains, including the world’s oldest maze and largest vine.

Spring Flowers
Hampton Court has always prided itself on its flower displays and for 2021, Spring time at Hampton Court will be even more colourful. The gardeners have been busy planting hundreds of thousands of tulips so what better time to visit this palace & gardens.

Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Hampton Court Palace
After breakfast we make our way to Hampton Court Palace where we will spend a full day enjoying the many attractions of this Tudor Palace which include the world’s oldest maze, the world’s largest vine, the vast Tudor kitchens where feasts were prepared for King Henry VIII and the sumptuous Georgian state apartments. After our visit we will take a circular river cruise from Hampton Court pier to Kingston departing at 16.00 hrs and returning to Hampton Court at 17.20 hrs.

Day 3 Strawberry Hill House, Twickenham & Departure
This morning we visit Strawberry Hill House for a guided tour, a Gothic Revival villa with gardens that were built in Twickenham, south-west London in 1749. It has a delightful interior and lovely gardens to explore and volunteer guides on hand to inform us about the many interesting aspects of this house. After this visit we
begin our journey home.
