Have a Royal Dutch Xmas Time!

A thrilling 4-day tour to experience a magical illuminated Dutch Palace to see how the Dutch Royal Family enjoyed Christmas as well as the iconic city of The Hague, the setting for the Royal Fair bringing magic to the darkest months of the year.

Nadine says…
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Paleis Het Loo! The walk from the entrance to the palace is breathtaking, and seeing the world from the perspective of the Dutch Royal Family is truly remarkable. There are two audio tours available, and I highly recommend taking the time to listen to them; you can choose to learn about either William III and Mary Stuart or the House of Wilhelmina. The palace is beautifully decorated and illuminated for winter, making it a must-see destination when visiting Holland.

Day 1 Arrival

Day 2 Visit The Hague for the Royal Christmas Fair
Enjoy a visit to The Hague, the centre of the Dutch government as well as the Royal Family. It is also the setting for Holland’s most beautiful Christmas event, the Royal Christmas Fair. It is host to dozens of Christmas houses, thousands of lights, atmospheric fires, mulled wine, choirs and musical performances.

Day 3 Paleis Het Loo
Today we visit the most beautifully illuminated palace in Holland, Paleis Het Loo. A wonderful winter venue for a festive day out with magical lighting and decorations illuminating the exterior of the ornate palace. Christmas trees line the palace entrance and impressive grounds whilst the interior’s beautifully decorated rooms are in keeping with the 17th and 19th centuries – as ornate table pieces used by the Dutch Royal Family are displayed.
