Head for the Heart of Ireland

Situated in the centre of Ireland, nestled between the Shannon River to the west and the Slieve Bloom Mountains to the east is the beautiful heritage town of Birr. This elegant Georgian town is a great base from which to explore a wide range of attractions, including Ireland's oldest whiskey distillery, the medieval town of Kilkenny and fascinating Athlone Castle.

Tina says…
"The County Arms was a stunning surprise to me. Set  in an elegant Georgian House with beautiful grounds, I was amazed at the value and inclusions for this truly special property. The centre of Birr is also close by, with graceful streets, delightful shops and an historic castle."
