Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel before dinner.

Day 2 Lake Garda
Today, we travel to Lake Garda and visit the town of Salò, the renowned port and entrance to the Riviera dei Limoni. Salò was the seat of the Fascist government during the Second World War and consequently home to the infamous dictator, Mussolini, during this time. Traces of its prestigious past can be seen along the main street in the elegant historic centre lined with beautiful buildings, pretty boutiques and restaurants. In the afternoon we enjoy wine tasting at Cantine Redaelli de Zinis, a stunning winery to the south west of the Lake. This region is known as the Tuscany of Lake Garda and will provide us with an excellent, authentic Italian experience.

Day 3 Iseo Driver’s Day Off
We spend today at leisure to enjoy the facilities of our superb hotel or spend some time in the authentic historic centre of Iseo with its attractive cafés and wine bars. We also recommend taking the boat trip from Iseo to Monte Isola, the largest inhabited lake island in southern Europe.

Day 4 Bergamo & Lake Como
We spend our morning at leisure in the old city of Bergamo, strolling along its cobblestone alleys and discovering its Roman ruins and Renaissance churches which are dotted around the city. Continuing west to Lake Como, we travel along the south east corner, full of dramatic scenery, before we reach the pretty village of Varenna. From here we take a short ferry trip over to stunning Bellagio, the jewel of Lake Como. This lovely historic village is teeming with character and boasts a fine selection of lakeside cafés, offering fabulous views from all angles.

Day 5 Franciatcorta Region
Today we visit a nearby wine cellar ‘cantina’ in the renowned wine producing area of Franciacorta. This region is very well known throughout Italy for its production of top quality sparkling white wine, or spumante as it is known in the ‘bel paese’. We enjoy a guided visit of Il Mosnel Franciacorta cellars and wine tasting before spending the rest of the afternoon at leisure in Iseo.

Day 6 Departure
After breakfast we begin our journey home.
