Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Zillertalbahn & Tratzberg Castle
We start our day in style by travelling on the Zillertalbahn. We marvel at the peaks and the jagged rocks of the scenery on our 32km journey to the lovely resort of Mayrhofen. We have some free time here before visiting the magnificent Tratzberg Castle, where we enjoy a guided tour.

Day 3 Söll Driver's Day Off
Today will be a relaxing day. In the morning we enjoy a guided village walk and then some free time to explore the village of Söll. In the afternoon we return to our hotel for coffee and cake with our hosts.

Day 4 Lake Achen Railway & Boat Cruise
This morning we embark on the Achenseebahn, Europe’s oldest cog railway, which is still steam operated. Puffing through the steeper sections, it rises to a 16% gradient from Jenbach to Seespitz. From here we re-join our coach for the short journey to the resort town of Pertisau. We enjoy time at leisure before relaxing on a cruise from Pertisau to the northern shores of Lake Achen, in Scholastika.

Day 5 Pinzgauer Lokalbahn & Krimml Falls
Today we make our way to Zell am See for a leisurely browse around this classic, Tyrolean market town before we embark on a scenic railway journey on the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn, jangling through the Pinzgau mountains and Salzach Valley to Krimml. We continue by coach to the spectacular Krimml Falls, Austria's highest waterfall.

Day 6 Departure
After breakfast we begin our journey home.
