Liverpool City Break

Not just famous for The Beatles and its music heritage, ever popular Liverpool also has the largest collection of museums and galleries in the UK outside of London. With so many attractions and fantastic hotels to choose from, you can select the best options to suit you.
Explore the city on foot, water or wheels – here are just a few of our suggestions in this great city!
River Cruises: The famous Mersey Ferries are a great way to see
the Liverpool skyline. Stop off at the award-winning U-Boat Story for a
fascinating insight into a World War II German submarine, enjoy a cruise
along Manchester Ship Canal’s 36 miles, sailing from Liverpool and
Wirral, or soak up the stunning views on a Liverpool Bay Cruise.

Royal Albert Dock: Forming part of the UNESCO World Heritage
Waterfront Site, the Albert Dock is one of the country’s top heritage
attractions, boasting museums, galleries, restaurants and bars. The
Beatles Story is a huge draw for “Fab Four” fans.

Royal Liver Building: Liverpool’s most iconic landmark is home to the
Royal Liver Building 360. A unique tower tour, the attraction includes
a new lower ground floor visitor centre, a visit to the 10th and 15th floors
where spectacular views of the Liverpool and Wirral skyline can be had
and a world-class digital show inside the iconic clock tower.

Shopping: Liverpool is a shopper’s paradise and visitors are spoilt
for choice at the gleaming city centre shopping mall, Liverpool One.
There are also boutique arcades and independent stores, as well as the
Liverpool Shopping Park a few miles out of the city centre.

Museums & Galleries: The Museum of Liverpool is the world’s first
national museum devoted to the history of a regional city (and it’s free!).
Merseyside Maritime Museum delves into the historic seafaring past
of the Albert Dock port, while Tate Liverpool is home to the National
Collection of Modern Art in the north, with the gallery staging a changing
programme of special exhibitions.

Fab Four Taxi Tour: Be transported back to the Swinging Sixties on an
entertaining Beatles taxi tour driven by a local expert guide, taking in
some of the iconic places that shaped the lives and songs of Liverpool’s
fab four lads.

Cavern Club: The Beatles played at the Cavern Club nearly 300 times,
helping it become the most famous live music venue in the world.
