Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel before dinner.

Day 2 Lake Achen Railway & Boat Cruise
Today we travel to Jenbach, from where we join the original Lake Achen cog railway for the journey up to Seespitz. This railway dates back to 1889 and the steam engines are some of the oldest in the world. The train winds its way up above the Inn Valley to its destination, the largest Alpine lake in the Tyrol, Lake Achen. We then board our coach for the short journey to the lakeside resort of Pertisau and enjoy free time here for lunch. After lunch we board our boat for a scenic one-way cruise to the north of the lake before rejoining our coach for our return journey to our hotel.

Day 3 Innsbruck
We will today visit the Tyrolean capital city of Innsbruck, surrounded by the jagged rock spires of the Nordkette range. Why not enjoy a horse and carriage ride through the streets of the old town to discover some of the most important sightseeing attractions, including the Hofgarten, the ornate 15th century “Golden Roof” designed as a royal box for the Emperor, the column of Saint Anne and the Triumphal Arch.

Day 4 Mayrhofen Driver’s Day Off
Today, we can spend the day relaxing in our beautiful resort in stunning surroundings framed by the majestic Zillertal Alps.

Day 5 Krimml Waterfalls & Zell am See
This morning, we will travel to the Krimml Waterfalls and marvel at this impressive natural spectacle. The falls are Europe’s highest with a drop of 380 metres and the fifth largest waterfall in the world. Our journey then continues to the pretty town of Zell am See, nestled on the shores of lovely Lake Zell. Here we will enjoy a picturesque 45 minute circular boat cruise and marvel at the beautiful scenery before wandering through the medieval centre and along the lake shores.

Day 6 Departure
After breakfast we begin our journey home.
