PACKAGED ITINERARY

Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway
This morning, we visit the nearby Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway, created by the famous Rothschild family and home to a host of exotic plants benefitting from the unique micro-climate. We are greeted by a senior staff member for a talk on the history of the gardens and the family that inspired their creation. We enjoy a journey on the steam railway that travels around the gardens together, with time here for lunch before returning to our hotel in the afternoon.

Day 3 New Forest Scenic Drive to Salisbury
This morning, we set out on a scenic drive through the New Forest en route to Salisbury. Travelling through Lyndhurst we go to the heart of this stunning national park, with its remarkable biodiversity and changing landscapes from beech and rowan trees to the open spaces where the free-roaming animals graze – let’s hope for a pony sighting. Approaching Salisbury, we keep an eye out for its famous spire. We have free time to explore this medieval city’s historic streets and alleyways, half-timbered buildings and magnificent cathedral - home to an original copy of the Magna Carta - boasting the tallest spire in the UK. On our return from Salisbury, we stop at The Potting Shed Tearooms in New Milton for a delicious cream tea.

Day 4 Beaulieu
Beaulieu where you will find a stately home, a world-famous motor museum and a 13th century abbey surrounded by picturesque gardens, there are over 800 years of heritage to be seen. Beaulieu National Motor Museum is home to a world-famous collection of over 280 vehicles and motoring memorabilia. From legendary Formula One cars and Land Speed Record-breakers to incredible examples of pioneering motoring, the varied galleries and displays in the National Motor Museum tell the story of motoring on the roads of Great Britain. Entrances are also included in the Palace House & Gardens, Beaulieu Abbey, The Secret Army Exhibition and unlimited ride on the monorail.
