Afternoon tea at The Strand Palace
Make it a royal occasion with a visit to our country’s capital and the home of His Majesty The King. Buckingham Palace, Royal Mews, Kensington Palace and an afternoon tea.
PACKAGED ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival & Kensington Palace
Before going to our hotel, we have an early afternoon visit to the incomparable Kensington Palace. Previously home to Queen Victoria and Princess Diana and currently the official London residence of the Prince and Princess of Wales, we can
marvel at the opulence of the State rooms. After time to see the sunken garden, we
check-in to our hotel for the evening.
Day 2 Buckingham Palace, Royal Mews & Afternoon Tea
After breakfast we make our way to Buckingham Palace where we have the morning to explore the magnificent 19 State Rooms used for ceremonial occasions and official entertaining. If we’re lucky, we may see the changing of the guards! Our next stop is the Royal Mews, home to the historic royal carriages and coaches, the most dazzling of all being the Gold State Coach, which has been used at every coronation since George IV in 1821. After such a feast of all things royal, it’s time to fill ourselves up with an afternoon tea at the Strand Palace Hotel, after all, we deserve it!
Day 3 At Leisure & Departure
After breakfast we have free time to explore locally, before we head home.
