Sligo, Seascapes & Scenery

This new packaged tour travels through the North West of Ireland and into the stunning Fermanagh Lakeland region. Based at our superb new hotel, the Sligo Park, we travel along some of the finest viewing points on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

GREAT NEWS: After Brexit (deal or no deal), Passports still won’t be needed for entry into Ireland. How’s that for a great deal!
Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Fermanagh
This morning we travel to Enniskillen, the county town of Fermanagh. We embark on a stunning private 2-hour Lower Lough Erne cruise, taking in the beautiful sights of the surrounding Lakeland. We return to the town and enjoy a guided tour of Enniskillen Castle Museum, which houses Fermanagh County Museum and The Inniskillings Museum, before heading to Castle Coole (NT), a late 18th century neo-classical mansion surrounded by 1,200 acres of peaceful woodland.

Day 3 Sligo Driver’s Day Off
This morning we can take the local bus to Sligo (just 2 miles away), where we have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the poet Yeats and visit the sights and scenes that inspired him. The town’s most popular attractions include the Sligo County Museum & Art Gallery, Yeats Society Memorial Building and Sligo Abbey.

Day 4 Wild Atlantic Way & Belleek Pottery
We begin today with a gloriously scenic drive along the Wild Atlantic Way, taking the coastal route through the picturesque village of Strandhill, on the way to the pretty town of Donegal where we enjoy a leisurely morning exploring. We then travel south to Ireland’s oldest pottery producer, Belleek Pottery, which has been welcoming visitors since 1857. We enjoy a 30 minute guided tour at the award winning visitor centre.

Day 5 Departure
After breakfast, we make our way home.
