SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel with time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2 Elegant Ely
We spend this morning in the historic city of Ely and enjoy a guided tour of magnificent, 12th century Ely Cathedral before walking to Oliver Cromwell’s House, where we meet a costumed guide to experience what domestic life was like in the 17th century during the
Civil War. After lunch we visit The Ely Museum.

Day 3 Cambridge
This morning, we enjoy a 2 hour guided walking tour of Cambridge University, which will include Trinity Hall, Peterhouse (Cambridge’s oldest college) and the iconic King’s College and King’s College Chapel. After our tour, we enjoy lunch at The Eagle, the 14th century pub famous for its RAF ceiling inscribed with signatures of pilots who fought during WW2. In the afternoon, we visit The Fitzwilliam Museum before relaxing on a 45 minute ‘Chauffeur Punt’ along the River Cam. Please note, access to the colleges cannot always be
guaranteed during exam periods and when other events are being held

Day 4 National Horseracing Heritage Centre
Today, we spend a fantastic day out in Newmarket, visiting the CPT coach-friendly attraction of the National Horseracing Heritage Centre where we explore the National Horseracing Museum, meet retired racehorses and view a stunning collection of pictures in the National Art Gallery of British Sporting Art.

Day 5 Departure
After breakfast, we must make our way home.
