PACKAGED ITINERARY

Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Bantry House
This morning, we travel along parts of the Wild Atlantic Way en route to beautiful Bantry House & Garden, a family home for the past 300 years. We have free time to explore the house and its stunning formal gardens before enjoying a homemade lunch in the tearoom. We spend the rest of our day in the stunning bay of Bantry, home to semi-tropical flowers, palm trees, high mountain ridges and cascading mountain streams leading to an azure blue sea.

Day 3 Blarney Castle & Fota House & Gardens
We begin our day at Blarney Castle, where millions have visited the castle in order to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone. The grounds of the castle are incredibly beautiful and believed by some to have a genuinely mystical quality - decide for yourself after exploring the bewitching themed gardens, herbaceous borders and woodland walks.
In the afternoon, we visit Fota House, Arboretum & Gardens, where we enjoy a 45 minute guided tour of the house. We discover the grand décor of the main rooms and the beautifully preserved kitchens, where we can experience what life was like for the servants who supported the “upstairs” lavish lifestyle.

Day 4 Killarney Jaunting Cars & Brewing Company
This morning, we combine a craft brewery visit with a jaunting car ramble through the magnificent scenery of Killarney National Park. We enjoy a guided tour of the Killarney Brewing Company and sample the handcrafted beers before our tour continues with a jaunting car ride through the beautiful Killarney National Park to Ross Castle. We spend the rest of the day at leisure in Killarney town centre.

Day 5 Departure
After breakfast, we make our way home.

With Oriel House located in the west of Cork, it makes Killarney an ideal day excursion and an alternative base, without paying Killarney prices.
