All You Need is .. A Week Day Walking Liverpool Food Tour! 2026
This longer tour gives us more time in this wonderful city where there is so much on offer, and we’ve included an exclusive food tour around Liverpool, designed exclusively and specially for coach groups. No visit to the city would be complete without tracing some of the steps of the mighty Fab 4, so we have included a full day at 2 iconic attractions.
PACKAGED ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2 Liverpool Food Walking Tour
We have a nice leisurely start to our day at our hotel, before we head into the city mid-morning to begin our exclusive leisurely 2-3 hours guided walking food tour. We’re guided around Liverpool city centre on foot, learning about the city’s history as we tuck into a 1 course traditional Scouse lunch with a pint of beer, glass of house wine or soft drink at a separate independent and award-winning outlet. What could be better than discovering Liverpool as we eat and drink! We have the rest of the day free to enjoy the city as we please.
Day 3 Strawberry Field & Beatles Museum
Today is all about celebrating the Beatles. Our first visit is to Strawberry Field, the iconic site immortalised by John Lennon’s “Strawberry Fields Forever” and was originally the site for a Salvation Army children’s home, where John Lennon would have played in the grounds. Our visit is a self-guided journey around the interactive museum where we have a chance to escape into the past, before we enjoy a cream tea. We finish our day at the Beatles Story, the world’s largest permanent exhibition where we are transported on an incredible journey of the Fab 4 and see how they changed the world of music forever.
Day 4 Southport or Chester
Liverpool enjoys a great location in the northwest and is a short drive from both Southport and Chester. Today we can choose where to spend our day to suit our itinerary.
Day 5 Departure
After breakfast, we make our way home.

Part of the Marriott and Starwood hotel brand, the Aloft Liverpool occupies the stunning, elegant, former Royal Insurance Building, which was converted into this modern and contemporary city hotel. Still retaining many of its original features, the hotel is less than 10 minutes’ walk to the Liverpool One shopping centre and 15 minutes’ walk to the historic Albert Dock.
