Day 1 Arrival
Day 2 Newcastle & The Alnwick Garden
We spend the morning in Newcastle with free time for shopping and sightseeing. We then visit The Alnwick Garden to admire the beautiful Winter Light Trail. Sparkling and shimmering illuminations light up the gardens in a stunning sound and light extravaganza at this after-dark spectacular.
Day 3 Beamish Museum
Today we delve into Christmases past with a truly traditional Christmas at Beamish. We indulge in roasted chestnuts, mulled wine and entertainment in the beautifully decorated museum, wander around stalls in the 1900s Town, and try our hand at traditional crafts and activities.
Day 4 Durham
Today we visit Durham to browse the shops and do some sightseeing.
