PACKAGED ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2 Day in Resort Driver’s Day Off
Today we have the whole day for ‘Me Time’ to explore the pretty island of St Andrew where our hotel is situated and relax by one of the hotel’s outdoor or indoor pools. Make sure to use the short courtesy ferry ride to the mainland to explore the magnificent town of Rovinj at leisure.
Day 3 Brijuni islands & Pula
This morning we head for the port of Fazana and enjoy the 20-minute boat journey to the must-see Brijuni National Park comprising of 14 beautiful islands. During our visit we take a sightseeing tour on a land train. In the afternoon we visit Pula for time at leisure to explore this historic, fashionable town.
Day 4 Poreč
Our journey today takes us to Poreč on the west coast of Istria. Here we are met by a local guide who will give us a tour of the charming harbour town with its many stone alleys and preserved Roman buildings. In the afternoon we return to the Venetian-looking fishing port of Rovinj where we have time at leisure to explore the town. Standing on a headland, the town is a maze of tightly packed streets, dominated by the iconic steeple of its church.
Day 5 Piran & Portorož
Today we venture up the Istrian coast into Slovenia. First to the pretty town of Piran, to explore its narrow streets with colourful houses. Then we head to Portorož, one of the most famous and exclusive spa resorts in Slovenia for time at leisure.
Day 6 Departure
After breakfast, we begin our journey home.
