Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Bunratty Castle & Folk Park
Today we visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park which offers visitors a window into Ireland’s medieval and early 20th century past. Farmhouses, village shops and streets are recreated as they would have appeared back in the early 1900’s. Wander along an old-fashioned Irish village street, and meet a host of colourful village characters, eager to tell a tale, teach Gaelic language or play a tune or two.

Day 3 Ennis & Cliffs of Moher Cruise
Today we visit the friendly county town of Ennis dating back to the 13th century, we have free time to explore its rich heritage including the Glór theatre, the Courthouse and Clare Museum. In the afternoon, we take a stunning cruise under the iconic Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most breath-taking natural attractions. Rising to over 700 feet, we sail right beneath this point just north of O’Brien’s Tower. With expert commentary, take in the wildlife, nature and history of the stunning coastline. See Ireland’s largest sea bird colony, and you may spot puffins.

Day 4 The Burren Centre & Vandeleur Walled Gardens
Today we head to The Burren Centre, considered to be the gateway to the region and The Cliffs of Moher, to learn more about this limestone paradise on the Wild Atlantic Way. The new exhibition offers an essential introduction to thousands of years of the history, people and legends of the region. This afternoon we have the delight of a visit to the hidden botanical gem of Vandeleur Walled Gardens set in 170 hectares of native woodland. From the winding tree-lined avenue to the beautifully restored and crafted colourful, formal gardens, there is much to admire in this effective tribute to Ireland’s rich and natural history.

Day 5 Departure
After breakfast, we make our way home.
