Day 1 Embark in Cologne
We embark and enjoy a refreshment as we sail for Rüdesheim.
Day 2 Rüdesheim & Mainz
Morning arrival in Rüdesheim. Explore the Christmas markets before sailing at approximately 16.00. We arrive in Mainz at 1900 for an evening exploration of the Mainz Christmas markets. Mainz’s Nikolose Market has a history stretching back more than 200 years. Today you can enjoy a mulled wine and Christmas baking in the market square in front of the mighty cathedral.
Day 3 Frankfurt
We have the full day in Frankfurt exploring one of the most beautiful and oldest Christmas markets in Germany. Regional products such as Bethmännchen, a marzipan pastry with almonds, or hot apple wine are particularly popular.
Day 4 Loreley & Koblenz
We set sail in the early hours of the morning from Frankfurt making our way through the Loreley Passage before arriving in Koblenz to explore Koblenz Christmas market. You can expect a variety of delicacies, the Christmas romance of the city and, of course, the smell of mulled wine.
Day 5 Disembark in Cologne
We arrive in Cologne in the morning and disembark after breakfast before we begin our journey home.
