Itinerary

PACKAGED ITINERARY

Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel on Skye in time for dinner.
Please speak to the sales team for suitable overnight options prior to arriving in Skye.

Day 2 Dunvegan Castle & Trotternish Peninsula
Today we make our way to the northwest corner of Skye to visit the famous Dunvegan Castle & Gardens. Built on a rocky outcrop on the shores of Loch Dunvegan, Dunvegan is the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland. After our visit, we enjoy a scenic drive around the northern Trotternish Peninsula via Duntulm, before returning to our hotel.

Day 3 Portree & Journey to Outer Hebrides
After a leisurely breakfast, we say goodbye to our hotel on Skye and make our way to Portree, the largest town on, and capital of, Skye. We can explore the harbour area and find a spot for some lunch before continuing to Uig, where we catch the afternoon ferry to Tarbert on Harris. On arrival, we make our way to our hotel for the next 2 nights.

Day 4 Lewis Guided Tour of the Island Suggested Driver’s Day Off
Today a local guide joins us for the day for a relaxing tour of Lewis. Taking us first north to Port of Ness and the Butt of Lewis, Scotland’s windiest spot, before travelling down the west coast. While there we visit the Gearannan Blackhouse Village and see Carloway Broch.

Day 5 Departure
Today we board the morning or afternoon ferry to Ullapool from where we journey home. Please speak to the sales team for overnight options.

Please note, this island tour relies heavily on island ferry services. In the event that a sailing is cancelled or delayed be aware that itineraries will have to be adapted, sometimes at very short notice.
