Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2 Trentham Gardens & Visitor Centre & David Austin Roses Centre and Gardens
Today we enjoy a horticultural gem, the award-winning Trentham Gardens & Visitor Centre and enjoy a stroll through the Italian Gardens, Rivers of Grass and Floral Labyrinth which have been given an innovative revival by world class and Chelsea gold medal winners, Tom Stuart-Smith and Piet Oudolf. This afternoon, another gardening highlight is a visit to David Austin Roses Centre and Gardens to discover the famous family run rose farm and see the vibrant traditionally grown roses.
Day 3 Severn Valley Railway & Wightwick Manor & Gardens
This morning, we go back in time and enjoy a railway adventure on the heritage railway, Severn Valley Railway (from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth) through the stunning local countryside and past beautifully restored stations and fascinating towns and villages. Relax and enjoy an onboard included cream tea box. This afternoon, we visit Wightwick Manor & Gardens, the National Trust’s impressive Victorian half-timbered Manor House, home to a world class art collection and delightful gardens.
Day 4 Departure
After breakfast, we make our way home.
