PACKAGED ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival
Day 2 Glen Moray Distillery & Elgin
Today we enjoy a guided tour and tasting at Glen Moray Distillery, nestled on the banks of the River Lossie in the city of Elgin. After, we enjoy free time to explore and soak up the festive atmosphere in Elgin before taking a scenic drive back to our hotel via Grantown-on-Spey.
Day 3 Inverness & Afternoon Tea
We begin our day with a visit to Inverness with free time to explore and perhaps do some Christmas shopping. In the afternoon we are treated to an afternoon tea at the impressive Palace Hotel & Spa Inverness, which dates back to the 1890s.
Day 4 Kyle Line – Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh
Today we embark on a one way scenic train journey on the famous Kyle Line from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh, travelling through spectacular scenery. We return to our hotel by coach via lovely Loch Cluanie.

Located on the outskirts of the town of Newtonmore in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, the Highlander Hotel offers friendly service and quality food, and is famous for its welcome to coach groups. The hotel consists of two separate buildings opposite each other, one housing the public areas and one housing the bedrooms, with external access between the two. All 80 well decorated bedrooms are comfortable and equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Although the hotel does not have a lift, all of the public areas and many of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, with the remaining bedrooms being situated on the first floor. There is a spacious, informal restaurant, a relaxing authentic regional style bar, a very comfortable lounge and an outside seating area.
