A Royal Greenwich Maritime Treat 2026
PACKAGED ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel with free time to explore Greenwich and possibly the famous Greenwich market, which is full of a fantastic mix of stalls, all under cover.
Day 2 Greenwich
We spend today at the Royal Museums in Greenwich. The Royal Observatory is home to the world-famous Meridian Line and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) where we can stand astride the historic Meridian line. Then climb aboard the famous Cutty Sark and admire the towering masts and 11 miles of rigging. Enjoy fabulous views of the River Thames, followed by afternoon tea underneath the very ship built to bring tea to Britain! We also have time to visit the National Maritime Museum and Queen’s House. Please note small parts of the Royal Observatory may be closed for refurbishment between Nov 2025-Jan 2027.
Day 3 Old Royal Naval College & Departure
After breakfast we make our way to Old Royal Naval College, the centrepiece of Maritime Greenwich, where we enjoy a film tour & experience. Here we learn about this former royal palace, designed by Christopher Wren, which was initially built as the Royal Navy’s Hospital and between 1869-1998 served as a training facility. We then make our way home.
