Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2 Sir Richard Arkwright Mills & Christmas Lunch at The Orangery at St Elphin’s Park
This morning, we travel to Sir Richard Arkwright’s Cromford Mills for a guided tour and Arkwright experience. We’ll have time to browse the shops and exhibition before our experienced guide shows us round to discover the industrial innovations that transformed our lives forever. Bringing his story to life in the setting of the mills, a holographic of Richard Arkwright is a real highlight. Afterwards, we enjoy a 2 course Christmas lunch at the luxurious Orangery at St Elphin’s Park, in beautiful surroundings on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
Day 3 Chatsworth at Christmas
This morning, we visit the magnificent Chatsworth House for a Christmas experience like no other. With a different theme every year, the ornate Painted Hall, State Rooms, Sketch Galleries and Sculpture Gallery are transformed into a magical wonderland with lights and incredible decorations. It is a breath-taking festive experience as we walk around this famous stately home.
Day 4 Departure
After breakfast, we make our way home.
