Itinerary

PACKAGED ITINERARY

Day 1 Arrival
We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 Windermere Lake Cruise & Sizergh Castle & Gardens
This morning, we start our day with a leisurely Lake Cruise on Windermere from Lakeside to Ambleside, where we enjoy a hot drink whilst taking in the stunning views. Our coach will meet us in Ambleside to drop us into the centre (the pier is approx. 1 mile from the main shops) We have free time here to enjoy a spot of lunch, before we make our way to Sizergh Castle & Gardens. Wander through nature-themed light and sound installations in the garden and enjoy historical Christmas decorations through the ages in the house.

Day 3 Keswick
This morning, we make our way through the lakes, taking in the scenery to the market town of Keswick; explore the town with many independent shops and plenty of local eateries and coffee shops to enjoy some well-earned lunch! On our return to our hotel we can stop in at either the villages and towns of Grasmere, Hawkshead or Coniston or perhaps Hayes Garden Centre or Lakeland, the Flagship store! The choice is yours.

Day 4 Ulverston & Shed One Distillery
This morning, we start the day in the market town of Ulverston (Indoor & outdoor market open on Thursdays) before making our way to Shed One micro-distillery for a wonderful tour and tasting. We also receive a discount voucher to spend at the onsite shop, perfect to pick up some Christmas gifts for loved ones (or yourself!). We return to the hotel for mulled wine & mince pies.
